I decided to become a Judge as a natural progression to my commitment to my community. My wife and I decided over a quarter century ago to raise our family in Jefferson City, Missouri, with both of our families living here as well.
My family and I have remained active in our community through church, volunteer organizations and local sports and we will continue that commitment into the future.
Upon becoming an attorney, I swore an oath that includes the phrase: “That I will practice law to the best of my knowledge and ability and with consideration for the defenseless and oppressed.” As a Judge, I continue to work diligently and use my knowledge and ability to serve our community, our neighbors, our families, by seeing justice is achieved
